Celebrating 60 Years of Growth!Over the course of 60 years, Nightingale Farms has grown from a small family farm to the vast 1,500 acres from which we now grow, pack and ship over 35 million pounds of fresh produce annually. Nightingale Farms is one of Canada's largest local suppliers to Ontario food chain retailers, independents, and Ontario Food Terminal brokers. We also ship our product to numerous retailers in the United States. We operate out of our central, ultra-modern grading, packing, and cooling facility in LaSalette, Ontario.
Established in 1950 by Frank J. Nightingale, the family farm business was passed on to his youngest son, Bill Nightingale Sr. and his wife Caroline, in 1980. Under their guidance, numerous research projects were undertaken to truly put the quality behind the Nightingale name. In 2003 Bill's only son, Bill Nightingale Jr., took over the reins of the company. In 2007, his sister Carmina Halstead joined him to drive this family company to a new level.
We are committed to agri-research and take pride in our leadership in adopting new technologies that enhance the quality, taste and freshness of our products.
